New Travel Time Reliability Methodology for Urban Arterial Corridors

The need for reliable performance measures of urban arterial corridors is increasing because the rise in traffic congestion and high value users’ travel time. Consequently, time reliability (TTR), which attempts to capture day-to-day variability times, has recently received considerable research interest. basis all TTR metrics underlying distribution (TTD) along given link or corridor. Estimating forecasting corridor TTDs analysis focus this paper. This paper proposes a methodology that addresses some limitations current U.S. state-of-the-art was published 6 th edition Highway Capacity Manual (HCM6).
